Live or Dead ball
« on: September 08, 2013, 10:36:29 AM »
Free kick falls at the 5 yd line untouched by team B and rolls in the end zone. Team B player in the end zone picks up the ball and runs it out.  Was the ball dead once it rolled in the end zone untouched?

NCAA rules: when it touched the ground in the end zone. Possibly it bounced up in from of the goal line and was in the air in the end zone. Then the ball is still live.

NF rules: as soon as the ball breaks the plain of the goal line the play is dead (I believe)
