Officiating Webcast...
« on: September 09, 2013, 07:22:33 PM »
FYI... Tim Kiefer and I have been working on some officiating webcasts (mini-presentations) that can be found at "www.officiallyspeaking.com"  The newest webcast is five minutes on "Judgment".  You can view this video on YouTube @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REAsooKaZg8

Each week through the season we'll post a new mni-webcast that we trust will be useful to our officiating community.  Webcasts from last season are also available for viewing at "OfficiallySpeaking.Com".  If you have an idea for a webcast topic you can send it in to Tim via the website.

Great stuff. For your week 2 - hs blocking below the waist, I have a couple of video clips that show initial contact that is not below the waist but then continues low. We didn't consider these bbw, although on the second clip holding on A6 was called.

Wondering what you all think?

(apologies for the quality of the video - still learning the ins and outs of video editing...)

Thank you, I'm using this video as part of our rookie officials clinic. The video covers all aspects of good officiating clearly and in a compact manner.
