No dumb questions
« on: September 15, 2013, 11:48:00 AM »
Ok when we have a dead ball personal foul are these considered UNS and go against that player as one of their two before they get disqualified?? Or are there specific dead ball personal fouls in a category that these are in?

I know the chicken fighting was an example this preseason. What would be other examples?

What about the hit on a guy by the pile out of the play, defenseless player?

Some examples would be appreciated,

Thanks

My understanding is that not all DB PF's are UNS's now. For example a "simple" hit out of bounds is still a PF. I think  UNS's are of the variety "attempting to start a fight", ie. pushing and shoving well after the ball is dead.

The change this year making some UNRs UNSs are for fouls well after the play that had nothing to do with the play. Believe this to be a judgement call on the timing of the foul.
