Deceiving the Opponent

I made this call as a white hat in a freshman football game.  With first down at the 40, SWC lines up after the ready for play signal. With plenty of time on the play clock, the SWC coach calls over the QB to the sideline for a discussion.  Everyone relaxes except SWC who snaps the ball to the RB who then throws a pass to the QB turned Receiver along the SWC sideline for a big gain.  I ruled this as unsportsman like conduct and an effort to deceive the opponent.  The SWC coach requested an explanation.  I informed him that is a pee wee football play that is specifically against the rules.  He asked me to send him the rule.  Would you advise I send Rule 9 Article 2 Unfair Tactics Approved Ruling 9-2-2/V?

Case play 9.9.1 situation B under the comment section seems to cover it

Yes, AR 9-2-2-V is to the point.

Probably because the post initially appeared in the Fed section. Rookies!

I'm thinking that the call was right, but seems that DaBigStiller is in a ton of touchy situations. I'd be afraid to work with... Not really. Unless he refused to listen to reason, well, my reason anyway.
