Jeff Roberson, GSC Coordinator of Football Officiating, will conduct two GSC camps this spring, one at Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL on Mar 13-15, and one at Shorter University in Rome, GA on Mar 20-22.
These camps are both instructional and educational, and are suitable for football officials who are just starting to officiate, all the way up to college experienced officials. These camps are used to identify and select officials for the Gulf South Conference (NCAA Division II).
Both camps will be three days in length and will include both classroom instruction and field work. The first two mornings of the camps are reserved for classroom instruction and includes video study. Field work each day consists of practicing and learning during the team practice and scrimmage/spring game. The camp concludes at the end of the scrimmage/spring game on the third day.
Instructors will include official from the active staff of Division I Football Conferences.
