CFO put out a whole video on C mechanics a couple weeks ago. Always line up on the left side of the offense, no matter which hand/foot the passer/kicker uses. Key the tackle on your side and help with the passer/kicker. On runs to you, take the front side blocks. On runs away from you, take the backside blocks. If the QB rolls out into the left side zone, R will take the blocks and C takes over te QB as he goes toward the sideline. The biggest change is that on FG and kick tries the C is now behind the defense with U and S. S stays on his side of the field, U is with the snapper and guards, and C is on the other side.

There is a new 8-man mechanics manual that details the C position. This year, C also has G/L responsibilities on turn overs to include punts.

Yes.  R will stay with the QB / P on those plays and clean up
