"C" moves beanbag

I know that after review the ball was spotted correctly. I have just never known of any mechanic that would allow for the "C" to pick up and move a beanbag that was thrown by "H" to mark the spot of a fumble. ALA vs. ARK Saturday at 9:00 left in the 3rd. Did anyone else notice this? Anyone have an explanation as to why this might have been done?

Saw it as it happened, and thought the same thing!  If I remember correctly, the line to gain was involved as well.  There was some communication from the wing official to the C, but I'm not a good lip reader of non-cuss words, so no idea what might have been said.

I believe H had the dead ball spot and the communication to C might have been along the lines of moving the bag to the correct fumble spot. It appeared to me when he dropped the bag it might have been accidently kicked, or he just missed getting it to the right spot. No matter what, they got the play right. Isn't that what it's all about?

I've seen wing officials adjust other official's flags for DPI and ING.  Not a bad thing
