QB Drama Continues
« on: December 31, 2015, 09:26:06 AM »
Seems like this is the year of Texas QBs and their impacts to bowl games. A couple of quitters at A&M now this from TCU.

Talk about refusing to learn from history...the reason he even got the job as a starter initially was because the other QB was suspended after a DWI arrest.

And while we are at it....the team does not have a curfew that would "encourage" the players to be in the hotel by a decent hour?! ?!   And if they do...what happens to those teammates who were with him but could not control him?

I liked what one of the ESPN guys said this morning.   He violated the stupid rule.

Rule:  Don't do anything stupid, with stupid people, at a stupid time in a stupid place.

Sounds like what I used to tell my oldest: Ask yourself before you do anything, "Is this a smart thing to do?"   It didn't help my son either, he got into a bunch of stupid trouble.

This bowl has a history of QBs getting in trouble.

Case McCoy a few years ago standing in the corner.

There's something about San Antonio that gets folks all antsy in their pants.

Maybe they lodge them too close to the River Walk

Someone suggested the other day that TCU hire me to manage security issues for them while here.  I told them the first thing I would do is find a hotel for the team in San Marcos or New Braunfels and base out of there.

The no tell motel in Boerne. Would be good,  the hike through the boon docks just to get to I 10 would take the starch outa their sails.
