Interesting penalty enforcment

Team A is 3rd & 5 at the B8. Team B lined up in neutral zone. penalty is enforced ½ distance to the goal so it's now 3rd and 1 on the B4. Outside the B10 the penalty would have been 1st down by penalty yardage.
For every coach that thinks we got it wrong there's another that thinks we got it right.

Yep. Fun little "quirk" isn't it?

It's even more fun in Fed rules where most of the automatic first downs don't exist. 4th and goal at the 5 and you have DPI in the endzone? Half the distance, replay 4th down.
