Someone just said that he looks at the elbows - if they don't lock he doesn't have a push off - taught to him by 2 officials from the AAC.

For every coach that thinks we got it wrong there's another that thinks we got it right.

I was racing to get through Tampa before the Outback Bowl finished. Coming back from the Chick Fillet Bowl in Atlanta. Jack Harris was the announcer. Kickoff to Georgia, Georgia return man catches the ball at the half yard line, momentum takes him into the endzone and out of bounds immediately. Harris is screaming for a safety. I'm yelling at the radio "Shut up you fool!'  A week later I am seated next to him at an awards function and he's still complaining about the awful officiating.

"No one has bothered explaining the rule to you?"
"What rule?"
"Momentum"
"No"
" in this case he misjudged the flight of the ball and caught it over his shoulder at the half yard line while running into the endzone. He immediately steps out of bounds. He's not down in the endzone, he's down at the half yard line where the bean bag was dropped, the spot where he initially caught the ball. The officials got it right."
"Are you sure?"
"I won't tell you volume of my disagreement with your broadcast, I'll be cordial. There are women present"
"I missed it?"
"That's why you are a morning drive in radio talk show host and not a football official."

They just don't know they are not correct.
