Pads and protective equipment

Do these "girdle" pads satisfy the equipment rule in NFHS? Do the pants have to have any additional pads in them if these are legal?

Assuming that the pads are 3/8” thick, and that there is a tailbone pad that isn’t pictured, they are legal.

Seems to me that the girdle satisfies the 'spirit of the rule'. The objective is to have those areas (knees, thighs, etc) protected and this seems to accomplish that

We've been told those are legal. No additional pads are needed, assuming they have all of the required pads (it would be weird if they were manufactured without all of the required pads)

And per NC's office, insure that the pants are still over the knee pads in the girdle. Apparently the "in" thing is to have the pants pulled up past them to let them show?
