« on: July 22, 2019, 12:38:52 AM »
So I see a countdown 60/25 Timer developed for the apple and garmin watched. Anyone working on one for the galaxy watched?

I have a ticWatch.   Say what you will about the others, it is a great watch for the price.   Will the android version work on it?

Nothing like not proofreading a post. Obviously I meant Galaxy Watch not Watched.

I use an app called Universal Referee Timer on my Tic Watch. I really liked it last season. It's more than just a timer, but it's awesome for that too. What I really got it for was that I can record fouls into my watch and it gets sent to my phone. So when entering fouls, I can play the recordings one by one.

I have developed an app for Galaxy Watches that require Tizen 4.0+ software that is available for beta download. See www.4025playclockapp.org  for more info.

I'm will be testing the galaxy watch app during my controlled scrimmages tomorrow.  Is there a way to keep the app open on my screen for the entirety of a game?

Recommended Watch Settings:
- Wake Up Gestures=off
- Show Last App=Within 1 Hour  (if your display times-out, having this set to 1 hour will show the app when you wake the watch)
- Screen Timeout=5 Minutes (to keep the app displayed on watch; if it does time-out, if you have Show Last App set appropriately, tapping and waking the watch will return you to the app.). If you are concerned with battery, the more the screen is on the more battery is used. Recommended to be at least 1 minute.

The app itself does not have an "always on" setting but after using mine today in a scrimmage, having the above setting worked for me.

Had my first game that I needed to keep the play clock. The app worked really well.

Probably should have changed the watch settings to keep it on more, but even with not changing the settings, there were only a few times where I needed to bring the app back up.

Definitely uses quite a bit of power, but there was no issue that it was going to die.

like the bevel being used to either go 40 or 25 depending on the way you twist it.

Easy to read, easy to feel the vibrations at the different point.

Overall a very good and effective app.
