Football Season practice Starts in February 22
First Game March 16 Season Ends with one week of Post Season May 3rd thru the 8th
No playoffs - but (in theory) all teams will end the season with a BOWL GAME
Practice starting on 2/22 = George Washington's Birthday
Season starting between 3/16 & 3/18 = Ides of March & St. Patty's Day
Post season ends on 5/8 = VE Day
In Maine ,snow would just be melting
Our football committee has submitted a modified schedule along with modified rules and we'll learn shortly if it's a go. One consideration is to begin the winter sports season on 1/1/2021 and run it for 10 weeks, followed by the fall season for 10 weeks and ending with the spring sports season for 10 more weeks. My math tells me that would take the baseball/softball season into the end of July
