Maine kids can play football twice in the same school year....
« on: September 10, 2020, 03:25:11 PM »
After a debate that involved 5 agencies and the governor, there will be some sort of football in Maine. Beginning shortly will be a 7-man season which is all passing, no blocking or tackling and a red flag to grab. There will be no post season, so it appears sorta' like a scrimmage. In the Spring, football as we know it, will begin. Shortly after St. Patrick's Day their games will begin with FieldTurf being at a premium. Our chapter handles 19 schools with 3 college and 1 high school with such a surface.

PS : Earmuffs were invented in Farmington, Maine  tiphat:

What if you played football on ice, with skates? Oh, wait. Somebody already though of that. It's called hockey. My Stars are making a run at the Cup. Just gotta score more touchdowns, er, goals.

Didn't Vermont opt to basically play 7v7 this season?

When I think of major hockey areas, I always think of Dallas, Vegas and Tampa...

Now I'm off to call a touchdown back because of a cleat in the crease.

Yet somehow, despite the likely weather and calendar differences, cold beer will remain the primary source of fluid recovery at post game Crew game review discussions, and the same, "beat will go on".
