Team "A" is penalized for illegal butt block on successful 2 point try.  Team "A" player then penalized dead ball penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. 
What options?

Assuming butt block is a live ball foul.

15 yards from the spot of the foul (assuming foul happened behind LOS).
UNS enforced 15 yards after butt block enforcement.

Nothing can carry over to the kickoff unless you decline the Butt Block, Try is then good, then enforce UNS on kickoff.

why is spearing also called butt blocking when this act appears to have nothing to do with the butt or blocking?

Lol. I see your logic. I think the word butt is used in reference to the top of the helmet.
