Anybody know why no officials showed up Friday evening for the Cameron Yoe Homecoming game?  Schedule issue, lack of officials, or just a total mess up.   The game was played Saturday morning at 10am.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Lack of interest?

Unemployment benefits more than enough to not put up with even the slightest abuse?

Not allowed on the field because they weren't vaccinated?

Word is it was a scheduling snafu between Cameron and the assignor in Centex, wasn't on the schedule.

We have the scheduling issue frequently with Dragonfly. My assignor is trying to get a game assigned for this Friday that the coach swears was put on dragonfly but it’s not showing up any where. In these situations communication is key.

Whether using a program, manual request or telephone sometimes a game will slip through the crack.

As an assignor many years ago, I had a 6 man coach call on late Thursday while I was on the way to work a sub varsity set. He said he wanted to confirm officials. Checked the schedule and did not have the game. Told him we were completely booked but I could send a group,of first year guys to which he agreed.

Game wound up 97-96……. Glad I sent some flat bellied guys! Coaches were thrilled by the officials.

Our coaches get a Monday morning automated email each week.  There are times when they don't get the email because they don't have any games so they reach out to me to see why and it's always been because they added a game and never contacted me to get it on the schedule.
