Rule 1-5 Jersey Colors

So...... The home team players jerseys have all the same dark color, lets say black. The NFHS missed addressing the visitors. So for pride week they come out with a jersey with a white body but have purple, pink, blue, green and orange numbers. This would be legal. Ralph, you must have had some other insignificant ruling you were focusing on!!!

Some were worried as to if you could drop kick a drop kick after the bounce  BUT most were satisfied with 1-5-b2: Players of the visiting team jerseys....shall be white.

I haven't seen the rule yet, but I was under the impression that the new rule for the home team jersey only concerns the body of the jersey -- therefore, the numbers of the home team uniforms are similarly not restricted unless there was a modification to 1-5-c-6 that I'm unaware of.

However, if this could be considered a competitive advantage or somehow overly distracting, I'd be very surprised. If the players want to wear a rainbow  of numbers, why not? What's the harm?

If the gussied-up numbers make it harder for us to tell what they are, that’s a problem.

One might presume, requiring A & B teams to wear contrasting color Jerseys, each with identifiable number designations is designed and intended to accomplish player/team/eligibility necessities. Current rules seem to appropriately address those necessities. Any exception preventing/confusing that, should be easily recognized and promptly eliminated when/if discovered.
