Not to lessen the impact that the ‘shutdown’ has had at some locations, when I left home on Sunday, the only two people in the entire security room at the airport were me and the agent. Yeah, Lubbock ain’t the busiest airport on the planet. But, just now, heading home from Sarasota, Florida, I was the only one in the ‘general’ security line at Sarasota-Bradenton Airport (don’t have Pre-Check, yet - have made application). So, if you are traveling soon, don’t despair. It ain’t all bad.
