It is hard to rationalize replay officials being able to make a call even on a dead ball foul. Maybe official did not think the situation warranted a flag but replay did not agree. There are currently 6 or 7 replay officials that have never worked even a single game on the field so this seems sad. I talked with several retired officials mostly college but one retired NFL and to the man, each said this is very poor idea that owners decided was a good idea. This is another owners idea without much input from on field officials but owners mentality is pass or I will take my ball and go home.
