ignoring the bad call, laughing at the announcers, do they teach you wings to be on the field at the snap?

Sideline and crowd control there is suspect.

More proof we all can have a bad day.

Nuts and bolts, we got screwed!

Classic quote right at the end there!
Now look, you know different people think about life in different ways. Lawyers think life is a big court room, doctors probably think life is like a big operation, and bus drivers think life is... er... a big bus I guess, who knows what the hell those guys think. Anyway, I've always thought of life as a big football game...

LOL.  I just saw this, and came to post it.  What a classic!  Really jacked up call, however.  But, when it doubt, it is forward...
Just would be better if some peeps were in the correct positions to make the call?
But, thanks for the great call, mr announcers!  LOL....love it.

Surprising as it may seem, we don't ALL blindly do what the NFL officials do.  Our mechanics have the wings at least 10 - 15 yards outside the nearest player, which means we can be on the field - especially if the ball is on the far hash mark.

The LJ in this case "fornicated the French Poodle".  You can see him putting the whistle to mouth and starting the incomplete signal before the camera pans away.  I won't go as far as the announcers did and say a touchdown was stolen, though. The intended receiver was closest and obviously made no move to the ball because the whistle had blown.  Green might have still recovered, but White probably would have had someone there as well.

But if that fact had dawned on these announcers, they wouldn't have gotten their Youtube fame.

From now on, every time a fumbler is ruled down, and a defender idly jogs the ball into the end zone for no reason, I want the announcers to assume that's realistically what would have happened, and flip out accordingly.
