this damn idiot needs to be banned from ever announcing another game.  in fact he needs to be banned from any sports facility.  he is the kind that gets the fans stirred up and wanting to have physical altercations with the officials. cut his tounge out, hang and quarter him and feed him to the buzzards.

I won't go as far as physical mutilation, but I WOULD require him to perform community service in the form of getting trained  and officiating rec league games.  Let him be on the receiving end of the parent's ire.  (Some might even say that is even more cruel and inhumane than physical mutilation).

    now that is a damn fine idea.  wish i had though of that.

I disagree.  Officiating is a privilege and an honor not some form of punishment.  We have enough officials who do this for the wrong reasons.  What should happen is the offer to fight should be extended to ANY football official at any level.  There can be a lottery to raise money for charity and the winner gets to stomp this clown's guts out!
