I have one for you

I had this in a JR High game the other week.......

3rd and 25 from their own 20. A decides to be sneaky and have the QB punt on 3rd down. The kick is blocked by R picked up by K behind the LOS and advanced 10 yards to the 30 yard line. What do you have?

You don't specify where the block occurred, so we're assuming the block happened behind the LOS.  If so then the touching by R is ignored and K must STILL make the line to gain in order to get a first down.  4th and 15 for A on A's 30.

If the block happens beyond the LOS, first and 10 for K where he was tackled.  And the clock starts on the snap, since it's an awarded first down after a legal kick.

4th and 15 from the 30.

I will put a new twist on it. What if R had muffed it and it rolled from the spot of the muff (beyond the LOS) back behind the LOS and K picks the ball up and kicks again. Then K falls on the ball 25 yards downfield from the LOS.

(Sigh) that scenario has already been discussed.  The second kick by K "uses up" the fact that R had previously muffed the ball and it will be R's ball 1st and 10 at K's 45.  The K player downed the kick when he fell on it.
