A concussion forced this player to stop playing football, but it hasn't ended his career.

tiphat: to Atlanta Blue and the rest of that school's staff.

AB, get him into officiating!  Then he's back on the field as a part of a team and NO concussions (unless he works U). hEaDbAnG

Wow, I can really feel for that kid.  I had my playing career end in much the same way.  I coached for the local PeeWee team for my last two years of high school and it was a great way to stay involved with the game.  I second Fad, get him into officiating!

He already has 1/2 the prerequsites to be an official, he has been knocked senseless.  As soon as his vision goes, he should be ready to sign up.    (Of course he is totally qualified right now to be a coach, as they are senseless but have incredible vision as they can straight down the goal line while standing at the 50.)     nAnA

Good for him for making lemonade out of the bitter lemons he's been given.  And good for the coaching staff for allowing him to remain part of the team! :thumbup
