Got to agree - call on the field was almost instantaneous and with conviction.  Unless IR clearly shows the call being incorrect the call stands as it must here.  I've got no problem at all with spending the time to make sure that we got it right.  IMO IR is doing it's job and is getting better at it each successive year.

If they decide the left foot touches inbounds before the right foot touches the sideline, then they cannot overturn.  If they come down at the same time, then, by rule, out of bounds and incomplete.  Not sure if they used a measuring device to determine the fraction of the difference of which foot came down first, but the kid made a great play.

Maybe they could let the calling official tell the IR crew what they "saw".  Then when IR is reviewing they use that as their guide. If guys say they saw right foot touch inbounds as left also did then the IR could look to see if right did touch in bounds.

They do, through the referee.  Calling official tells the referee what he has, the referee speaks for the crew.

No, not really, F has a great position and makes the call.  And besides, at that level isnt the philosophy a catch, and let replay come in and make it incomplete?
