The ruckus at this game...looked like mid-field probably before the game...as best I could tell from the highlights....one player slapping at another....with contact..... any flags thrown...and ejections.....   if not  why not....

There multiple fouls assessed prior to KO but they all offset.  As was noted, the slapper (a Stanford reserve receiver) got tossed.

But they did not do that.  Just screwed up the announcement
