I know that we haven't heard anything yet. I know the judge is well aware of tomorrow's deadline. I know that he promised to notify the parties by tomorrow of his ruling. I am speculating that he will keep that promise.

On a related note, in today's Houston Chronicle, I saw an obit for the lead attorney for the UIL in the original appellate action. It seems that he passed away over the Thanksgiving holidays. I don't know if he was materially assisting the AG's office in the current suit, and if so, was wondering if this might spur further delays.

With or without a deadline it wasn't going to affect us with our assignment. We are working the game as TASO officials who are not registered with UIL.

I agree, this thing is far from over. Celebrate if you wish, but its just delaying the inevitable as far as I'm concerned. Some of you who aren't registered, might get a game now, but so will I either way! The end is near. Just might take a little longer.

Yes, I did. I can't see where TASO views this as a win. It will cost them $1000 and they might have gained a few hours, days or weeks, but nothing has changed. If a decision is rendered fairly soon, which I expect, then everything could and will change. We will see. No worries here!!!!!

onery, this is federal court. Now that the time sensitive material has been handled, you will be lucky if this sees the courtroom by 6/11.

And if the Court denies the UIL's motions, the injunction stays in place until trial -- my guess 3 years.
