Live Chat Situation

As we approach the time of the year when our live chats are most active, has anyone got any suggestions for a site to use to do this?  As I mentioned, I have one through my Chapter's website we can use but if someone has one with more bells and whistles we might want to go there instead.  Right now ours has annoying ads and I can't even find a way to pay them to stop the ads.  I have explored some other options but do not want to commit to one of them if someone already has a better idea.

Guys, take a look at this and let me know what you think.  I found this site and it looks pretty easy to use.  In order to get to the site I set up, you have to be invited so there shouldn't be the risk of getting uninvited guests (who aren't on here anyway ).  Click on the following link and see if you can find any reasons that it won't work for us this year.  It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the previous service, but it might work well enough.

I was in for about 40 minutes and then it died.  The whole chatzy site seems to be dead.

It was still dead this AM

I have created a backup.   If the chatzy site is down, try this:  http://www.safootballchapter.us/chat.htm    It does not have lots of bells and whistles but seems to work okay.

Thanks Mike.  I haven't been able to get anywhere on the chatzy.com website yesterday or today.  I'm not sure what's up with it.  If I hear of anything, I'll post it out here.

I just checked and the chatzy site seems to be up and running again if you guys want to use it.  I went to the site that TXMike set up and didn't see anyone in there.

I got the same message.  I'm trying to figure out how I was No. 2 in line and then I was bumped to No. 5.  That has got to be some sort of "illegal procedure".

Not a very good chat site for this group.  It only allows ten people in unless you are a premium member.

We need to find another solution.

We can make a new chatzy but you have to pay $12 for the room up front. Free is limited to 10.

Someone graciously paid $12 to get a premium room so we could have an unlimited number of people in there.  I asked around last night in the chat room and no one would admit to it.  To whoever it was, thank you!
