Out of curiousity, what do you do different than "most every crew out there" ?

I am not talking trash when I say this.  I fully recognize that there are many different ways to accomplish goals.  These are all general comments that I am stating.

I don't make everyone on my crew dress up like a bible salesman to go to games.  I see a lot of crews dressed like Lemmings to go to a game.  I understand that it shows professionalism.  I don't understand the need to show that level of professionalism for a football game.

My sole purpose in life is not to try to get as many games as possible.  I am cutting myself off at 1 varsity game a week for the upcoming season.  I dont see the need to do a lot of games.  I love my wife and kids and I want to see them.

I dont have crew meetings to go over stuff before the season.  If you cant read your email you are probably not for me.

The more scrimmages I work does not mean the more games I get.  There is zero correlation.  Scrimmages are to make sure your pants still fit and to work on stuff to make yourself better.

I hope this helps.  These are all very general comments.  If your crew does these things and it works for you then awesome.

I was thinking you were suggesting that you had your own mechanics when you said you did things differently.  My apologies.
As for dressing up, we just wear a collared shirt with slacks.  It's all about perception.  I've seen some officials in other chapters show up in shorts and t-shirts for a varsity game.
