7 on 7 Mechanics

If anyone know if there is such a thing as mechanics specifically for 7 on 7, I would appreciate your sharing this information. I am working some this Saturday and can not find any mechanics for it.

Do you know how many officials will be working each game?  I've seen anywhere from 1-4 in a game.

If 2-man we do:
H: positioned on LOS floats down 5-15 yd on the snap, has the 4-count and coverage is short and middle-length passes to his side.
B: positioned on the far hash +/-15 yd from LOS has everything on his side and helps H with long stuff to the other side.

3-man:
H: same as above
S: positioned on the far sideline from H 10 yds deep. has everything on his sideline with help from B on the deep stuff.
B: positioned on the same hash as H +/-15 yd from LOS has deep stuff to the H side, most everything ion the middle and helps S with long stuff to the other side.

There will be two officials per game.

With two officials, we have typically worked very similar mechanics to what TampaSteve described above.  The only difference is that the H wouldn't necessarily start on the LOS...depending on the down and distance.  We have also always had a volunteer to be the score/time keeper for each field so we didn't have to keep up with the 4-second count.

Agree w/ Grant.
Some tourneys, etc, a non-official does the 4 count....and H doesn't really HAVE TO be on LOS.
Now with 7-on-7 round these parts, the official does NOT go chasing the ball down on incomplete play & it's A's responsibility to get their ball and spot it on the LOS - per H instructions certainly

I've worked it from 1 official to 6 officials.

1 Official: Back Judge
2 Officials: Referee + Back Judge.  Referee helps down field.  Not worried about spots.  They don't matter much in this anyway.
3 Officials: Referee, Back Judge, Wing
4 Officials: R H L B
5 Officials + figure it out...
