Maybe it was the resolution, but I didnt see the ball hit the ground. Looked like a standard punt from my vantage point

What a play...  :!#  The kick looks legal to me and Team B is not attempting to block the scrimmage kick so touching by them beyond the NZ is just tough luck.  Looks like the crew got the call right.

What worries me most about that play is the utter lack of mobility by the white hat. Like, did someone drive 5" nails through his feet, into the turf?

Looks like the rusher swipes the punter's right arm just as he is about to release the ball.

R may have needed to take a few steps backwards, but otherwise, he didn't need to move. 

I can't really tell if his foot hits the ball before the ball hits the ground, as it hits the ground or after it hits the ground.  It almost looks like an accidental drop kick.  What a mess.
