Don't be so eager on the flag. If a player hurdles an opponent in a 3 point stance, that's not a hurdling foul. The defender has to have one or two feet on the ground and ONLY that that, nothing more.

Are you talking about a LB timing a leap over an offensive lineman?  If so, I'm calling that in my game, since I'll judge that the OL immediately pulled his hand off the ground at the snap.  Safety issue for me.

Not particularly. I was just making the point that if a player has a foot and hand on the ground at the time of the hurdle, there is no foul.

Last year in a playoff game if flagged a LB for roughing the snapper on a try. I told he could hit the snapper until he recovered. Very next try, the LB hurdles the snapper. Out comes the flag.  The LB says "I didn't touch him that time."
