Rom Gilbert's Site
« on: September 11, 2012, 09:32:52 AM »
Most everyone here alreadyknows about his site but for the newcomers..
www.romgilbert.us is probably the best source of NCAA rules information on the web.  He has a variety of products, all free, which can help anyone better understand the rules.  He also has a weekly feature where there are 5 - 10 video clips with short blurbs.  Good stuff Maynard!!!

Seems he hasn't posted for a while. I hope he is well.
For every coach that thinks we got it wrong there's another that thinks we got it right.

Even though his site isn't being updated anymore, I thought many on here would like to see this.

Excellent. Rom's site has been an outstanding resource of training information for many years. I still use his quizzes and mini-missives during our off-season training for my crew. He's truly one of the best!

Just remember to check for new rule changes and rulings, as Rom no longer tracks those.

'There were many others that provided plays and supported the Pigskin Page over the years. The NCAA was of absolutely zero help.'

Yeah, from what I remember, Rom and the NCAA didn't get along very well.
