One of the worst calls I've ever seen.

Confirmed or just stood as called?

No way does it look like the ball completely crossed out of the endzone.  But without a good camera angle, you can't necessarily say you have indisputable proof that it did not.

That's a GREAT call. Look at the angle of the shadow ... it's casting a shadow at an angle of 15 degrees from zenith, back to the end-zone.  The area of the shadow that's the ball is almost over the line, meaning the ball would have had to be over the line by a good few inches. The knee wasn't down until the ball was returned back into the endzone.

I'd hope that the fellow on the far sideline would be right on the goal line.  That would be a bitch of a call, whichever way he ruled.

This play was NOT confirmed by replay. Simply allowed to stand. Watching the game, the R and L had a discussion and the L was persistent so he must have felt very confident in his view.

I was watching film of myself and I realized I was not taking the zenith into account. Just kidding, I have enough to think about.

How many R's are on the goal line on a play like this?
