NFHS presents new rules Apps for 2012

Just received the email today about the 2012 NFHS Football Rules App. Just in time for my last weekend of football.

Has anyone else purchased and downloaded this App? It costs $5.99. Not sure if this is a one-time charge or if one would have to buy the 2013 Rules next year.

I would have purchased this without hesitation if it had been available 2 months ago.

If anyone has used it, I would appreciate any feedback on its features and ease of use.

i bought the app about 6 weeks ago and really like it.  I do not know how they will handle updates.

Just received the email today about the 2012 NFHS Football Rules App. Just in time for my last weekend of football.

The email I got stated the basketball app is now available for Droid, coming in a week to 10 days for iPhone. 

The football app came out weeks ago.

maybrefguy, there are no updates.  Next year, you can buy to 2013 version.

I stand corrected.  The email I got was about the Basketball app as FBUmp noted. I never received the email notice about the Football app (if there was an email sent). While I did lead with it in my post, it was not the intent of my post.

My intent was to gather opinions of others that used the App this year so that I can plan to buy/not buy it next year. As I stated, I am inclined to buy it unless others report that it is not useful or too cumbersome to use.

I like to be able to save a pic on my iPhone then email it to myself and post the pic of a rule or casebook play or ruling.

I got this about 3 weeks ago, and I really like it. Search option works very well. You can also reference rule book to case book & case to rule. Very nice touch.
Well worth the 6 bucks.
