2nd and 5 on the A-45.
B72 jumps into the NZ and contacts A66 presnap. A66 overreacts and whips B72 to the ground.
So we have dead ball fouls to enforce in order of occurrence. Go 5 to the 50 then back 15 to the A-35.
Is it 1st and 10 or 2nd and 15?
The offside penalty doesn't mandate an automatic first down. Since these would be reported at the same time, my thought was you'd administer them together and THEN see where you are with regard to line to gain. (So 2nd and 15)
But some are saying that once the U walks the 5 for the offside, it's a first down.
Also, would it make a difference if there was a delay between the fouls? Same scenario. B72 jumps. As the R is announcing the foul and the U is walking it off (before the ready for play), A66 commits an USC foul.
Thanks for your help!
