Central Florida Referee attack (I Think)

Here is the link

My guess is the guys in the neon shirts are Refs?  Maybe it is the people in the funny hats?

This is what happens when districts want to get cheap and let anyone be a referee.

well anyone can referee. I mean I just get out of bed at 3:30 most Fridays take a look and my calendar and figure out where I am going that night and show up around 6:45ish for the game. Who needs to prep for this kind of thing, its so easy.

So I Google Liberty HS and it appears to be a public school as it purports to be a member of the Osceola Co. school district.

I see neon green shirts and gold shirts and even some orangy-red shirts so there are some quirks to the "sophomore league" there.

Forget the playing without an ambulance topic.  Need to start holding up play if there isn't a LEO contingent on hand.

Lakeland Destroyers look like a youth league team:  http://hometeamsonline.com/teams/default.asp?u=LAKELAND-DESTROYERS&s=football&p=about

Reason number 17,593 not to do youth ball.

Edit:

Quote
he Mission of the Lakeland Destroyers is to provide the youth of the greater Lakeland area with a youth football & cheerleading experience that they can take with them throughout the rest of their lives.

* To provide recreational opportunities in a safe environment in Polk county and beyond.

* Teach fundamentals and discipline necessarily to perform at the highest level.

* Install values and pride for the communities in which we serve.

So much for the safe environment, the discipline, and instilling values and and pride in the community.  Swing, and a miss.

It showed up on my local 11 pm newscast and they said it was a youth game.  This in no way implies that my local news station is accurate in its reporting of an event two states away or next door.

Florida law .... Felony Class B. He will never coach football again.

Why are they wearing lime green shirts? Construction crew from the highway department?

Better yet, Why are they hanging around? Get your rear ends out of there. Especially when the Coaches are mad about something.
