This is an illegal kick under any code. No laundry.

Now somebody is going to try this, thanks to the goofballs in stripes here. Thanks, goofballs.

And to top it off he threw the ball into the stands. So we have 2 fouls missed. Game was played in San Antonio. Any of our Texas members care to comment?

Northern Virginia Back Judge, dial it back a bit son. Do you know these officials? You look at one play and deem them goofballs? Please send us some of your film. Would love to critique.

From what the officials told me they deemed the kick not intentional. I don't know if it was or wasn't, but the way he came into the kicker holder with his hands raised indicates to me he expected the ball to be kicked and was trying to block it.

By the way, Scorers in this game are instructed to throw the ball into the stands to the thousands of Army troops in attendance.

Sometimes one play is enough.

I don't know NoVA, but I watched the tape several times -- and I could not tell you that it was kicked intentionally.  When it doubt it is not intentional.  So, I am okay with the play stands.

I was the R in this game last year, and I have to mention that the network controls everything.  They shave time off; they tell you to stop throwing flags; they do just anything and everything to get the game done exactly on-time.  It really is not much about the game, but more about showcasing individuals.  Officials are essentially there to keep it safe and to chase the ball.
