Smitty Hybrid cold/wet weather shirt
« on: November 13, 2018, 06:11:03 AM »
Anyone have any experience with the new Smitty Hybrid cold/wet weather shirt with "water resistant outer shell and nylon inner lining?"  I'm seeking opinions or recommendations.

I have a Smitty Foul Weather shirt, "heavyweight, fleece lined & water repellent."  It kept me warm and dry two games this year, but it's heavy and stiff.

I'm thinking about listing the Hybrid shirt in my letter to Santa Claus.

I'm a big fan of the "foul weather shirt" you have.  Worth the $89, IMO (get it for Christmas so you don't feel like you're spending $89 on a shirt.  haha).

I have not tried the other one.  I have a plastic long-sleeve and short-sleeve shirts that go under my normal short and long sleeve shirts made my Cliff Keen.  I don't think they make them anymore.  But those are good for when it's not cold enough for the other shirt.

Sounds like this-

I had a knock off version I bought at one of the ACC clinics.  Never wore it much as frankly our weather is ok for the most part until well after FB season.  I wound up giving it away when we went to 2" stripes.

Now I've got one of these- I've worn it once this year in a JV game that rained for the vast majority of time and I've worn it a few times in spring ball.
