Is this an illegal block?? 12 was definitely inside the tackle box and block came at the initial surge.

Not enough information, as the actual low block is off screen. If it was between 10 and 2, legal. If from the side, not legal.

Initial charge only applies to linemen in the tackle box blocking low from the side. 12 starts in the tackle box but then moves laterally outside the tackle box and blocks low. He’s even outside the initial position of the tight end by the time he makes his block. Any low block outside the tackle box is a foul.

I'm not 100% sure he is completely outside the box (at least his feet), when he goes low. And my understanding is we are not to be too technical as to whether or not they are in.
