I never had to go up into the stands, but I definitely went to the front of the stands and got the attention of the band director and notified him/her to discontinue playing when the opponents were moving to the line to snap the ball. Instead of going up into the stands, I would have got the game administrator to have the band director brought down to me to have this conversation. That's why we need to know where the GA will be during the game, so we can get that done expeditiously.
Had somebody sounding a whistle in the stands very recently. Got the GA to fix the problem. He got the PA guy to make an announcement, and then they paid attention to the specific area, and the problem went away.
