2 point conversion.

If the defense intercepts a pass or scoops up a fumble, the play is then blown dead and the 2 point try is no good. What if the offense recovers a fumble on the 2 point conversion try.

The "TRY" is an (exclusive) awarded opportunity FOR THE SCORING OFFENSE,  to earn extra point(s).  Should the defense recover a live ball fumble, or intercept the attempt, the play is over & the Offense has failed to earn THEIR reward. If the Offense recovers a Live ball fumble inside (or subsequently advanced a live ball fumble beyond the goal line), they have successfully gained their exclusive reward.

The try down is over when the defense gains possession of the ball. As long as that didn't happen, the ball is still live. If the RB fumbles the hand off, but then immediately scoops it back up, the play continues as usual.
