Catch or no catch.

I know that if a receiver leaps up and catches the ball and is carried out of bounds, it is a catch. However, if a receiver jumps up and catches the ball and would have come down inbounds but it’s pushed out of bounds before he lands, that is not a catch, correct?

You may want to verify “pushed/blocked,” as opposed to grasped and carried, out of bounds. The latter just might mean the catch was completed and progress was stopped in the field of play.
