Welcome!  If you need assistance when you get to Georgia, let us know what part of the state you will be working.  I'm sure there is someone on here that would be close and could help you out.

Well I'm specifically moving to Atlanta. The wife and I aren't 100% sure where in ATL we will be living but I know for certain I don't want the move to delay me joining an association.

Don't listen to TXMike.  He acts like he knows everything but doesn't know anything.

Roscoe, welcome.  Best of luck to you.
Refstripes is a wonderful community of officials trying to do the best they can, in a sport they love.

I have learned lots in my few years of being here.

Don't listed to TXMike.  He acts like he knows everything but doesn't know anything.

He is correct.  I do, however, know how to spell.

(PS:  Doc, I will no longer be carrying my cell phone on the field so I can field your calls asking for guidance on how to enforce a dead ball false start)

Welcome Roscoe.  Here is the link to the GHSA website.  http://www.ghsa.net/officials-association-contacts  There are a few associations in the Atlanta area.  My association is based in Athens, so that will not help.  Good luck!
