Cold weather shirt

I want to get a waterproof cold weather shirt to wear when it rains.  I am considering the Cliff Keen Weatherslayer

Anyone have either of these, and how do you like it?

I have the Smitty Hybrid. It's waterproof — both ways — and keeps me warm with a layer or two under it. But when you get warm and start to sweat, the lining inside will get wet. I have had to towel off the inside at halftime.

Honigs is supposedly developing a Goretex waterproof shirt that will breathe, and I'll pick that up when it comes out. I like their Goretex "Windstopper" undershirt a lot and use that as a layer on colder nights.

I think they tried several years ago but the retail price was $200+ so I don't think they were successful.  Hopefully they'll be a little more reasonable this go round.

I bought one (forget the brand but it wasn't one of the majors) a couple of years ago at the ACC Clinic.  Its pretty much a regular shirt with a nylon liner.  It was marked down pretty cheap else I would have passed.  Prior to that, I just used a regular shirt with a baseball windjacket underneath.  The old hands used to get trash can liners from the janitor so things have certainly evolved.

I've been fortunate to not have worked very many games in the rain over the last 19 years.

I also have a short sleeved version which is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made.  Great for those in-between days or if you're on a tough-guy crew that likes to go short sleeves in 20 degree weather!  haha

I   have the one boss man is talking about Its not cold enough here to use it much but it is good to cut the wind on my motorcycle.

I will ask my brother about it. He just bought it from somewhere and it looks really good. Even I wear it sometimes with my ALO yoga pants. He is a good brother and so he doesn’t fight with me. He is just planning to buy another one for me, so I don’t take his (he-he).

What's a cold weather shirt?

In all honesty, they're only needed for post-season - and not each week in the post-season at that (last year's stae finals I dont think I saw any crew wearing long sleeves and there were night games, too).

BUT, if it dips below 70, we're scrambling to find where we stored ours.

As far as I know, everyone has whatever run-of-the-mill long sleeve that Honig's has.
