1. B - All legal play. A is reponsible for the ball being dead behind their goal line = safety.
2. A - B45 did not complete the recovery inbounds; therefore, the ball has touched something that is out of bounds, and is dead. The ball was fumbled forward and OB, so it is returned the spot of the fumble, next down.
3. A - RPS can be added to the end of the last run, if there is no change of team possession during the down. A, 1/10, B-25.
4. B - The DOF penalty gives A a new series. Even though the clock stopped to ostensibly award Team B a first down, B will not next snap the ball, so the clock starts on the RFP signal.
5. B - A simultaneous recovery of a ball loose from a legal kick belongs to the receiving team. Team A is responsible for the ball being dead behind B's goal line = touchback.
6. C - By scoring, Team B's holding penalty is declined by rule. But then Team B (fixed from original post) could invoke the illegal touching privilege, canceling the score and taking the ball at the B-15. However, an exception in the rules allows Team A to enforce B's penalty (although that means canceling the score). In this scenario, Team A can not get the score - period. That's what they get for illegally touching the ball.
7. A - A ball in player possession is NOT out of bounds when the BC or the ball contact another player that is OB. The ball is not dead until A33 steps OB at the B-5.
8. A - A72's intentional touch of the forwardly passed ball is illegal. A26's catch is legal. By rule, the penalty for the illegal touching foul is enforced at the previous spot. In this case 1/2 the distance to the goal, repeat 2nd down.
9. C - The forward fumble OB rule brings the ball back to the spot of the fumble, which is in A's end zone = safety.
10. B - The personal foul for the illegal snapper contact is enforced at the previous spot, 15 yards and an automatic first down.
