It just shows that you have to be ready for anything anytime. You can't relax until your back in the dressing room.  Last play in a blow out --  S misses the progress/TD, replay misses overturn, why did R allow the PAT?  We have to try to get them ALL right, especially when all the info is there to do so.   Was this all just indifference bc the game was already a joke?   I don't think that's a reason to mail it in.

The "TD" had no "direct competitive impact on the game" so there was no reason for the booth to stop the game for a review.   Although it appears the winning coach wanted a timeout so the play could be reviewed, no official came to him so he could advise he wanted to challenge.  It sounded like they may have granted the timeout but if they did so, there still does not appear to have been any review of the play.
As for the PAT....no excuse there.  They are just fortunate nobody got stupid on the play and started something.   May be some unhappy gamblers but if you gave UCLA and 24 points, you deserved to lose your money.

Don't know which was worse:  Allowing the XP, or Briles wanting to challenge a meaningless TD when time had already expired.

And I sure can't figure out what the F thought he saw when he had already moved to mark the ball down at the 1.

BTW, UCLA was the favorite, so "the line" didn't come into play at all.

The "line" didn't but I suspect there were some very proud Baylorites who may have been willing to give UCLA and points

Looks like snap near 35.  The F appears to be at an angle a yard in the endzone.  I'd like to know if they started on the goalline or the 5 (no reason to).

This shows that we always need to be aware of where we are. The F should have been firmly at the goal line, not a yard deep looking in at an angle.
