My question now would be if the illegal kick by B is considered to be a foul by the team with possesion or not

See rule 10-2-3-b. And IT IS NOT AN ILLEGAL KICK, IT IS ILLEGALLY KICKING THE BALL. Sorry, I'll get off the soap box now.

I am in agreement with you now.  I had to diagram it out.  Your interpretation is correct.  In my mind I had B kicking the ball backward which would have been over A's goal line.  That really made no sense.

It was bad reading on my part and then stubbornness kicked in.

OP: "4/G at B4.  Score tied.  A3 FG attempt is blocked, doesn't cross neutral zone.  Ball at the B5, B33 kicks the loose ball into B's end zone."

Are you telling us B33 kicks the ball 95 yards into his own end zone? What am I missing here?

That was the mistake I made until I diagramed it out.  B's end zone is 5 yards away. It is the end zone A is kicking toward of course. It is A's end zone that is 95 yards away.  I felt foolish when I realized my mistake.

Sorry Kyle, and thanks

illegally kicking the ball

And the doubt was related to the whole confusion about the ball having crossed or not the NZ

But thanks again for the call and for the help

This illustrates one of the differences between the way we treat kicks vs passes.  If a pass is tipped in or behind the NZ and subsequently crosses the NZ, the pass has not crossed the NZ by rule.  Not so with a kick.  If a kick gets past the NZ, it has crossed the NZ.  May not have been touched beyond the NZ as yet, but it has crossed it.
