NFHS- as long as TTCGG are numbered 50-79 and he is wearing a number NOT that, yes. Center is a position, snapper is defined by rule.
On 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down the snapper is the only allowed exception and he can't be an end.
Can a center on the end of the line of scrimmage wearing a RB number be an eligible receiver? Is the formation below legal? It's first and 10 and here is the formation. Y TTCGG RB H X Z QBAgain, the RB on the end of the line will snap it to the QB in the shotgun.
Are you saying on 1st, 2nd and 3rd downs the snapper, if lined up on the end of the line AND wearing 1-49 or 80-99, is not an eligible receiver?
Per NFHS rules it's an illegal formation violating numbering rules.
Magician, if they have 5 other players numbered 50-79, they aren't using the numbering exception.
Correct. This whole thread is implying they are using the numbering exception.
